Description

A close look at the training and tools, mission and mindset of the elite US Army Special Forces Group. The group members are trained to the peak of their physical and mental capabilities to be called anywhere in the world to deal with military hotspots or pitch in with disaster relief operations. The book covers recruitment and training, and a look at the weapons, communications and sensor equipment, and survival gear. There is also a mini-novel of probable scenarios. The book also includes an interview with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, (and former Commander-in-Chief of the US Special Operations Command USSOCOM), General Hugh Shelton.
